What was the most valuable thing you learned?
Your training gave foundation on how to break down complex tasks into different steps which always gave starting point for projects of any kind.
What mindset or approach did you develop?
Learnt to take pause, sketch it out, take feedback, advance with new skills and keep going trusting on the practice have done over the time and learn more irrespective of time invested.
How has this training helped you?
I have become more observant, I understand where i need to put efforts in details and where not to.
I am aware I will always have an option to fall back on 3d whenever I want, as long as I am updated with what comes new in market. As I have learnt 3d from scratch by you in person.. my basics are quite clear and I still havent forgotten any of it.
All this helps me in personal life too!

When other teachers would tell the students to focus on getting into the Film or gaming industry, you always said that the opportunities in 3D extend far beyond them.

Hi, I'm Tanay. Right now I'm an Assistant Professor of Game Design at DY Patil, where I teach Unreal Engine, virtual production, and game design.
Alongside that, I co-found two creative studios, Nexuss and Renderix, so I'm working across teaching and production at the same time.
I know Abhijeet sir from my MAAC days, where he was my faculty. Honestly, the biggest thing he did for me came at a point where I was hesitant and a little lazy about learning Unreal Engine. I kept putting it off. He was the one who pushed me to actually pick it up and stop avoiding it. That single push ended up shaping my whole career, because real-time and Unreal are now the foundation of everything I do, from my studio projects to the classes I teach. The skills he got me started on are things I use every single day.
But what really set him apart wasn't just the technical side.
He never felt like only a professor. He felt more like a big brother or a friend. He gives you the reality check you actually need to hear, he's brutally honest about your artwork instead of sugarcoating it, and he guides you in a way that genuinely makes you a better artist. That kind of honesty is rare, and it's exactly what helps you grow.
